What items are available in the Girls State Store? What method of payment does the store accept?
The store has t-shirts, tanks, long sleeve t-shirts, and other miscellaneous Girls State items. The store ONLY accepts cash or check.

What is the address for the closing ceremony?
Due to limited seating at the final ceremony, we encourage all Girls State citizens to have a maximum of two guests in attendance. This ceremony starts at 2:00 p.m. Friday May 31, 2019 at the Catlett Music Center (500 W. Boyd St, Norman, OK 73019).
When time is check out on Friday?
Check out is Friday, May 31, 2019 at 3:30 P.M. following the closing ceremony.
Are the Girls State citizens required to be in dress code for check in?
No. Dress code attire is not required until the first official meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Can parents attend any portion of the Girls State program?
Parents and/or guests are only allowed to attend the closing ceremony on Friday afternoon. They are not allowed at any other time.
Where can I drop something off for a Girls State participant?
All items can be dropped off at the Girls State office. This is located in Couch Center on the 2nd floor of the dormitory.
Can I visit my daughter?
Oklahoma Girls State has a very involved and busy schedule. We therefore do not allow the Girls State participants to have visitors during the week.
Is there a dress code for guests at the closing ceremony?
The Oklahoma Girls State participants will be in dress code attire. However, we do not have dress code requirements for guests.
Can I send my daughter mail during the week?
Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate this request. You will be able to contact the Oklahoma Girls State office if you need to get a message to your daughter. Contact information will be added here at a later date.
Does Oklahoma Girls State have a weather preparedness plan?
Yes. We work closely with the University of Oklahoma to make sure the participants of Girls State are safe at all times. The University has storm shelters that are available for the Girls State program’s use.
